My Experience
I have been teaching primary children for twenty years across all age ranges. For the last nine years, I have tutored alongside this, preparing many children for entrance exams at selective independent schools and grammar schools across South West London and Surrey. I teach all aspects of English and maths and particularly enjoy supporting children’s writing and encouraging a love of reading.
As an experienced Year 6 teacher and tutor, I understand both what selective schools are looking for and how children of this age actually think and learn - and that shapes everything I do.
I teach from my home in Kingston upon Thames.
I hold enhanced DBS clearance.
